For the record: Probate judge allowed visitation for four years
December 13, 2012
Because of an editing error, a story on Page A1 of Wednesday's Times contained incorrect information about how long a judge allowed visits to occur between the father and son in a contentious custody case. Barnstable Probate and Family Court Judge Robert Scandurra allowed visits to take place for four years, until 2010, despite concerns of abuse raised by the mother and others. In addition, because of a reporting error in the same story, the year the mother came to the United States with the boy was incorrect. They immigrated in 2006.
