Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a story on Page A1 of Wednesday’s edition about Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne had the wrong number of years of service required for a retired public employee who is at least 55 to collect 80 percent of his or her pay. The employee must have 32 years of service to qualify

Houston admitted to sufficient facts on charges of assault, indecent exposure, and assault and battery. The cases were continued without a finding, according to court documents.

In a story about a preventive treatment for peanut allergies that appeared in Wednesday’s Times, The Associated Press erroneously reported the results of previous research based on comments by Dr. Andrew Bird.
Bird said he misspoke and meant to say that tolerating one peanut reduces the risk of a reaction by 95 percent, not that it protects 95 percent of children allergic to peanuts.
