Because of a writer's error, an editorial on page A8 Saturday inaccurately described Eversource, which is the power distribution company for Cape Cod.

Research equipment in photo misidentified

Because of an editing error, a photo caption on Page A1 of Saturday’s Times misidentified equipment being used by researchers at Salt Pond in Eastham.

The instrument in the photo is a conductivity-temperature-depth logger, and is used to measure temperature, salinity, light, dissolved oxygen, and chlorophyll, according to Michael Brosnahan, a red tide researcher at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Teacher’s name misspelled in graduation story

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A3 of Monday’s Times included an incorrect spelling of Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod teacher Lisa Williamson’s name. The story also contained incorrect information about why the commencement was held at the school. The ceremony was previously held at churches before the school had its own activity center

Britt Beedenbender is CDP officer

A story on Page A3 of Friday’s Cape Cod Times misspelled the name of a Community Development Partnership staff member. Britt Beedenbender is the nonprofit’s chief development and communications officer.

Firefighters identified incorrectly in caption

Because of an editing error, firefighters were identified incorrectly in a photo caption on Page B6 of Sunday's Times. Fire Commissioner Michael Curtis and members of his Mount Kisco, New York, Fire Department were laying flowers at a memorial outside the new Brewster Fire Department facility.

Speaker at forum was not keynote

Because of an editing error, the caption of a photo on Page A4 of Tuesday's Times contained incorrect information about a speaker at a forum on immigrant and refugee issues. The Rev. Richard Wilson was not the keynote speaker.

Onset-Wareham fireworks set for July 7

Because of a reporting error, a story about Fourth of July events on Page 10 of today's CapeWeek magazine includes an incorrect date for the Onset-Wareham fireworks. Those fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m. July 7 off Onset Pier on South Boulevard. Rain date: July 8.

Because of an editing error, a story on Fourth of July fireworks on Page 10 of Friday's CapeWeek gave the wrong location for Falmouth Heights Beach. The beach is on Grand Avenue in Falmouth, where fireworks will be set off at dusk Wednesday

Celtic concert is at First Congregational Church

Because of a technical error, a concert listing on Page 4 of Friday’s CapeWeek listed the incorrect location for the “Sounds By the Sea: Music for All” concert. That show, featuring Sarah Ford Marchio and Rose Clancy performing Celtic music, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church, 650 Main St., Chatham. Bacteria in database misidentified

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Tuesday's Times incorrectly identified bacteria that live in marine species, which are part of a new database that received $100,000 in financial support from Prince Albert II and the Monaco Foundation. The bacteria are microbiomes.

Group’s mission incorrect in aid-in-dying story

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 in Wednesday’s Times incorrectly described the mission of the Patients Rights Action Fund. A spokeswoman for the organization said it is a patients’ rights advocacy group.

Chief seeks to clarify position

A story on Page A1 of Thursday’s Times requires clarification. After the story was printed, Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne sought to clarify a previous statement, saying that he has not formed “a solid opinion” about the proposed location of a 99-bed rehabilitation facility for drug and alcohol addiction on Jones Road in Falmouth, and he is still gathering information.

Song titles incorrect in concert review

Because of reporting errors, a review that appeared on Page A10 of Monday’s Times had incorrect information regarding Chris Botti’s performance Saturday night at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Caroline Campbell performed a duet with Botti on “Emmanuel” and Sy Smith performed “The Very Thought of You” near the end of the first set.

Editorial failed to note all of Cape's elected Republicans

Because of a writer's error, an editorial on Page A8 of Saturday's Times failed to include some of the elected Republicans on Cape Cod, including: Scott Nickerson, clerk of courts; John Meade, register of deeds; and Anastasia Welsh Perrino, register of probate.

Thomas Russell Jr. slain in 2016

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Tuesday's Times cited the wrong year for the killing of Thomas Russell Jr. in Hyannis. Russell was slain on Oct. 22, 2016.

Because of a reporting error, a review that appeared on Page C3 of Thursday’s Times incorrectly referred to Mary Chapin Carpenter’s last name. It is Carpenter.

Cape Harmony to perform Saturday

Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a concert listing on Page 3 of today's CapeWeek magazine has the wrong date for a Cape Harmony performance.

Hospital seeks LEED gold building certification

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A4 of Monday’s Times incorrectly identified the energy conservation certification sought by Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Hospital officials hope the new hospital being built on the island will be designated a LEED-certified gold building. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Name, titles incorrect in Nonprofit Notes

Because of a reporting error, an item on Page B7 of Thursday’s Times listed incorrect positions for two newly installed board members of the the Business and Professional Women of Lower Cape Cod. Samantha Brintnall (Seamen’s Bank) is president and Amy Costa (Seamen’s Bank) is first vice president. Also, because of incorrect information supplied to the Times, the first name of a scholarship winner Tiana Wiseman was misspelled.
