Amendment prohibits pot retailers on same site as residences

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Wednesday's Times contained incorrect information about an amendment to the Truro marijuana land use bylaw passed at special town meeting. The amendment replaced a requirement that marijuana retailers be located in standalone structures with a prohibition against them being located in structures with residences.

Needy Fund goal incorrect in kickoff story

Because of a writer’s error, a story and headline on Page A1 of Sunday’s Times gave an incorrect figure for the goal of this year’s Cape Cod Times Needy Fund annual fundraising campaign. The goal has been increased by $25,000 over last year’s goal of $1 million.

Eversource plans 25- and 5-megawatt storage facilities

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Tuesday’s Times included the incorrect unit of measurement for the planned Eversource energy storage facilities on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. Eversource is proposing to build a 25-megawatt energy storage facility in Provincetown and a 5-megawatt facility in Oak Bluffs.

Accident victim formerly worked at Wequassett Resort

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A3 of Friday’s Times incorrectly stated the work history of a Chatham woman who died in a Florida motorcycle accident. Jacquelyn Lindemann worked at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich between 2009 and 2013 while also working as the manager at Uno Pizzeria & Grill in Hyannis.

Because of an editing error, a story on Page A1 of Sunday’s Times gave an incorrect figure for the goal of this year’s Cape Cod Times Needy Fund campaign. The goal is $1,025,000.

Provincetown has banned plastic straws

Because of a writer’s error, an editorial on Page A7 of the Nov. 20 Times misidentified the town that has banned plastic straws. Provincetown’s ban on plastic straws will begin in July.

Roles of doctors in photo requires clarification

A photo caption with a story about local aid groups working in Honduras on Page A1 of Monday's Times requires clarification. The doctor on the right of the image, Jorge Carrasco, is medical director at Community Health Partnership-Honduras. The surgeon on the left of the photo is Merlin Antunez, director of surgery for One World Surgery.

Cape Cod Museum of Art is in Dennis

Because of an editing error, an art event listing on Page 14 of Friday’s CapeWeek supplement gave the incorrect address for the Cape Cod Museum of Art. A Juror’s Gallery Talk & Reception by Patricia Feinstein on “Light in a Dark Season” will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the museum, 60 Hope Lane, Dennis.

Donors decorated their own trees for festival

Because of a reporting error, an item in the Best Bets column on Page 9 of Friday’s Cape-Week supplement incorrectly identified the designers for the second annual Festival of Trees in Harwich Port this weekend. Donating businesses decorated their own trees for the Family Pantry of Cape Cod benefit.

Marine veteran is Tom Kelley

Because of a reporting error, the first name of World War II and Korean War veteran Tom Kelley was incorrect in a story that ran on Page A3 of Saturday's Times. Kelley, a 92-year-old Marine, attended the burial service of Army veteran and longtime bugler Albert Madden, who died at 100.

School vote tally from Dennis incorrect

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Wednesday's Times included the wrong vote tally in Dennis for the new Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District middle school project. Voters in the town approved the ballot question 1,361-876.

Borghesani is spokesman for the Haven Center

Because of a reporting error, two stories on Page A1 and Page A4 of Wednesday's Times incorrectly stated the position of James Borghesani, who is a spokesman for Haven Center, which is planning to open a medical dispensary and a recreational marijuana shop in Brewster.

Mother’s name wrong in story about child’s death

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Monday's Times included the wrong last name for Jessica Smith-Stellmach, the mother of 7-year-old Damien Larsen, who died Saturday after being struck in Harwich by a Bobcat skid-steer loader.

Therapeutic tool called My-Life-Ball

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1 of Monday's Times gave the incorrect name for Stephanie Tobey-Roderick's therapeutic product used in group counseling sessions. The product is called My-Life-Ball.

Atwood museum open through Dec. 29

Because of an editing error, a photo caption on Page 9 of Friday's CapeWeek magazine listed an incorrect date for the Atwood House and Museum in Chatham to be open for the holiday season. The museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 29.

Name of Barnstable wildlife center incorrect

Because of a writer's error, an editorial on Page A8 of Wednesday's Times gave the incorrect name for a wildlife care center in Barnstable. It is the Birdseye Cape Wildlife Center.

Amount for wind energy leases wrong in story

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 of Saturday’s Times listed the wrong amount for each of the three winning bids for offshore wind energy leases awarded off Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Vineyard Wind, Equinor Wind U.S. and Mayflower Wind Energy each bid $135 million for leases on three parcels south of the islands.

London tower, bridge misidentified

Because of an editing error, a headline and photo caption on Page D8 of Sunday’s Times gave an incorrect name for the Tower of London, and the caption misidentifi ed the Tower Bridge.

Soloist misidentified in music review

A review of the Skylark Vocal Ensemble performance on Page C2 in the Dec. 21 issue of the Times incorrectly identified the soloist in the 'Corpus Christi Carol.' It was mezzo Clare McNamara.
