Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a Community Notes announcement on Page B2 of Sunday's paper failed to include an additional day for the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth's open house at Cape Cod Community College. The event will be held 1 to 6 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday in Room 114 of the college's Technology Building.

Third Dogs Allowed will be held Sept. 26

Because of a reporting error, a story about drug addiction on Page A1 of Sunday's Times had the wrong name for the operator of a sober house in Orleans where Thomas Bok was living in 2005. The house was owned by the late Philip Bergstrom, who passed away in 2007.

A column by Cynthia Stead on Page A11 of the Sept. 30 Times quoted Irwin Stelzer, director of the Hudson Institute's economic policy group, who incorrectly stated the amount of taxpayer money spent on the federal Cash for Clunkers program.

The program, which gave car buyers rebates of up to $4,500 if they traded in less fuel-efficient vehicles for new vehicles, allotted $3 billion for those rebates.
