Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A1 in Wednesday's Times about the Barnstable Town Council election had the incorrect number of registered voters and percentage of voter turnout in Precinct 1. About 38 percent of the precinct's 2,804 registered voters cast ballots in the election. The average turnout across the seven precincts with contested council races was about 29 percent.

Falmouth Chorale on Saturday and Sunday

Because of an editing error, the "Week Ahead" calendar on Page 17 of Friday's CapeWeek had an incorrect date for a Falmouth Chorale concert. The chorale will perform "On This Shining Night" at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at First Congregational Church in Falmouth.

Betterment required once waterline installed

Because of a reporter's error, a story on Page A3 of Tuesday's Times on Eastham's municipal water project contained incorrect information. Taxpayers would be required to pay a betterment fee when the water line is installed on their street even if they don't connect to the system. Also, the consultants who spoke at the meeting were incorrectly identified. Paul Gabriel is the president and founding partner of Environmental Partners Group and Mark White is a consultant.

Because of an editing error, incorrect information was listed on pages 6 and 12 of Friday's CapeWeek for the "Sounds of the Season" holiday concert at the Academy Playhouse in Orleans. Shows were held at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and one will be presented at 2 p.m. today at the playhouse, 120 Main St., Orleans.

Because of incorrect information provided by Barnstable District Court, the arraignment information concerning Peggy Lou Lafoon was incorrect on Page A5 of the Dec. 14 Times.

Lafoon, 49, of Forestdale, pleaded not guilty on Dec. 12 to a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a plastic adhesive tape dispenser. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 12.

For the record: Yarmouth has no stance on proposed turbine

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page A3 of Wednesday's Times had incorrect information about the town of Yarmouth's stance on the wind turbine proposed by Aquaculture Research Corp. in Dennis. The town is petitioning Orleans District Court to be allowed to intervene as a defendant in the case brought by ARC against the Old Kings Highway Regional Historic Commission and Rosemarie Austin, who oppose the turbine. The Yarmouth Board of Selectmen has not taken a stand on the turbine, but officials say the town deserves a chance to be heard.

Due to a reporting error, the arraignment of Russell Viera, 21, 32 General Patton Drive, Hyannis on Dec. 19 in Barnstable District Court was incorrect.

Viera was arraigned on charges of possession of Oxycodone with intent to distribute, possession of a drug near a school or park and a traffic violation, not opiate trafficking. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 13.
