Because of a reporter's error, a story on Page 1 of Wednesday's Times had an incorrect amount for a Proposition 2½ capital exclusion to pay for Sandwich High School pool repairs. The total is $980,000, which includes $857,000 for a new mechanical system, money to pay for grout and tile repairs, and 10 percent for "soft costs" not included in the consultant's estimates.

The meetinghouse and the acre of land where it sits is owned by West Parish of Barnstable. The 1717 Meetinghouse Foundation Inc. is charged with the building's preservation and maintenance. The CPA grant was awarded to the foundation for maintenance of the meetinghouse.
