Scout camp in Eastham resolved
In February, the Eastham Selectmen "raised concerns" about the Boy Scouts camping on town land. Here's the link to the old Page Zero site: Scouts in the news
It's been resolved, one camping season later.

EASTHAM — For 30 years, Eastham and Wellfleet Boy Scouts have used a small campground on town-owned property within the Cape Cod National Seashore. Thousands of scouts benefited from what had been a handshake deal with selectmen decades ago.
Almost a year ago, that arrangement threatened to unravel when the current board of selectmen questioned the scouts' right to be on the land.
But Tuesday, after a considerable amount of public pressure, Eastham selectmen made good on their vow to work with the Boy Scouts. They finally made the deal official, sending the Scouts a newly created application and rules and regulations for camping on the property.
"At this point, I think it's a fair solution," said Steven Garran, Troop 83 Boy Scout Committee chairman. "It was frustrating to be treated like we were doing something wrong when we weren't, but the end result is good."
