Adobe flash player question

I`ve searched & searched. Got the run around. Rolling Eyes

Is adobe flash player necessary for anything? I have windows media player. Are they at all similiar?

Test for Adobe Flash player:
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

It will tell you which version you have and which versions are the most current and up to date. (10,2,152,26)

Flash Player lets you play simple games, called Flash games (clever, huh?).

The thing that got me about searching for adobe stuff was how some company put up `Abode` - by changing the letters many must easily fall for the wrong Co. tsk tsk.
Very deceptive !! Aha, they didn`t fool this Mermaid!
