photograhic macro question
A friend from the wunderground website suggested I get a macro to help me identify a swan friend in the spring. I wonder if its possible to rent one? I`ll keep looking around.. Its no emergency!! Was just a suggestion..
Can`t imagine it would be cheap much less free

Need more information...
A Macro could be a camera lens
or
it could be a part of a computer program.

Re: photograhic macro question
Thanks. This has something to do with a camera. Was told to aquire a macro- as taking a pix of the beak is the way to identify a swan ...
Not going to go to such lengths now. From 8 cygnets, the head count is now down to 2 perhaps 3. In the spring I`ll know who`s who-

Aaahhh,
A macro lens gets 'up-close-and-personal' for better detail.

Re: photograhic macro question
Do you have a photo editing program?
I've been using Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 for quick fixes instead of opening up the full Photoshop.
It used to be free but has been discontinued since it was so popular no one was buying Photo Elements etc.
Here are some Open Source photo editors (because free is cheap):
