Because of an editing error, the photo caption and a headline for Christian Hagenlocher’s bird-watching story on page A3 in Tuesday’s paper contained incorrect information. When he visited Race Point in Provincetown on Dec. 31, to try to see a dovekie, Hagenlocher already had identified enough birds in 2016 to break the American Birding Association’s Big Year record for 2013.

Because of incorrect information provided to a reporter, a story on Page A3 of Monday’s Times included the incorrect date for a free workshop, “Preparing for President Trump,” hosted by Catholic Social Services. The workshop, aimed at addressing immigration-related concerns, is scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Isle Church on Nantucket. Because of a reporting error, the story included incorrect information about a 2007 raid on a textile factory in New Bedford.
