Java?
Well, well. Been awhile! Thing's are lookin' good around the old site.
Here's the thing. In order to watch the CCT webcam of the bridge's, 'it' says I need to download Java. And something else about a plug-in. I'd like to have it working soon, especially for Labor Day.
Google brought up many things, some free, re: Java.
Question, is Java safe? Maybe someone on here can explain what it is. Thanks ahead of time!

Java is everywhere. You probably already have it on your computer.
Take this test to see if it up to date:
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Some browsers have a special version called a 'plug-in'.
Search: "Java (your browser)" for more help specific to your needs.
The CC Times cameras work sometimes and others don't.
Sigalert has traffic if that's what you are looking for:
