Headline told kids it's OK to be rude

February 01, 2011I was appalled by the blatant WTF on Friday's front page. It was rude and inappropriate.

We try to teach our young people to be polite and you make it now OK to be rude.

Maybe not everyone knows what it means, but I do. What's next? The statement written out in full? Shame on you.

Well Muriel, I wouldn`t go That far re: giving kids thumbs up.. Do many even read the paper??? Not like they don`t hear this everyday- often at home...UNfortunately.

I must say it caught me off-guard. I thought to myself, wtf?

WTF in huge letters. LOL

Edit: I'm not counting this as an correction. A lapse of judgment perhaps, but not a factual error. I LOLed when I saw WTF as the headline.
