The ads up top of this page are getting larger & more annoying. Can anything be done about this?

I use Firefox for my browser with the Adblock Plus add-on so I don't see any ads...
Edit: I just looked on the other computer and Yes Virginia, the ads are bad. I thought I was using the totally free edition with no ads. I'll look into it and see if I can make them go away.
