Liberty ship in painting misidentified
Because of an editing error, a subheadline for a story on Page A1 of Thursday's Times incorrectly identified the Liberty ship in a painting by artist William Muller. The Liberty ship depicted in the center of the painting is the SS John Davey.
Santa, carolers visit Enchanted Village through Dec. 20
Because of an editing error, a story on page 10 of today's CapeWeek doesn't specify the last date for Santa Claus and the Cape Cod Surftones carolers to be part of the Enchanted Village display at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis. While the display opens at dusk nightly through Jan. 3, Santa and the carolers will only be on hand 5 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 4 to 7 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 20.

Start date for new electricity rate corrected
Because of a reporter’s error, a story that appeared on Page B7 of Thursday’s Times incorrectly stated the start date of Cape Light Compact’s new residential electricity rate. The rate will go into effect after January meter readings, so customers will see the new rate appear on bills they receive in February or early March.
