Because of incomplete information provided to the Times, a story about the Yarmouth recreation director on Page A1 of Wednesday’s paper omitted CARE for the Cape and Islands from the list of organizations involved in the Yarmouth beach cleanup. CARE organized the event and invited the Center for Coastal Studies to help with the educational component.

For the Record: Minimum wages wrongly listed in Sunday story

Because of an editing error, a column on Page E1 of Sunday's Times had the incorrect amounts for minimum wage in Massachusetts. The full minimum wage is $8 an hour. The minimum for tipped employees is $2.63 an hour.

A letter to the editor on Page A9 in Tuesday's Times contained incorrect information about police involvement in a civil search warrant served on a Hyannis home Aug. 12. While police were asked to be available if needed, officers neither entered the property nor served the warrant, which was handled by zoning compliance, animal control and conservation officials, according to the Barnstable Police.
I'm going to call this Editing.

FALMOUTH - Because of incorrect information given to the Times, a story on Page A2 of Thursday's edition about a car break-in in Falmouth that led to a home robbery had an incorrect location. The car was in the parking lot of the Island Queen Ferry at 75 Falmouth Heights Road on Tuesday, according to the Falmouth police.

Because of a reporting error, a school was omitted from an MCAS chart on Page A7 of Sunday's Times. Eddy Elementary School in Brewster was ranked as a Level 2 school on a scale of 1 to 5, with Level 1 being highest achieving.

Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a story on Page A3 of Thursday's edition identified the wrong car that police say ran a red light at the intersection of Higgins Crowell Road and Route 28, causing a three-car crash. Because of an editing error, a story about two historic houses in Orleans on Page A1 of Monday's Times misidentified the property that was scheduled to be discussed by the Orleans Historical Commission on Monday. The commission was scheduled to review a notice of intent to demolish the so-called Percival house located at 120 Route 6A.

The stone revetment to protect the Shore Road home of James and Lisa McGonigle was proposed to be 6 feet high, with approximately half of it buried below the grade of the beach so that the new stone wall will be the same height as an existing one on an adjacent property.
Canal's authorized depth is 32 feet
