Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a log item on Page A4 of Wednesday's Times contained incorrect information about the age of a man who died while swimming off Craigville Beach Saturday night. Michael Kelley, 36, of Hyannis was swimming with his sister before he was discovered unresponsive and pulled from the water.

Correction: Hours omitted for library book sale

July 24, 2012

A brief on Page A5 of Wednesday's Times omitted some of the hours for the Brewster Ladies' Library book sale now through Aug. 20. Hours are noon to 3 p.m. Sundays and Mondays; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The library is located on Route 6A.

Correction: Hospice programs available for veterans

Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, a story on Page A1 on July 16 had incorrect information about the number of hospice programs for veterans on Cape Cod. In addition to SolAmor Hospice in Bourne, the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod and Cape Cod Palliative and Hospice Care have programs specifically designed for veterans.

Because of a reporting error, a news brief on Page A5 of Tuesday's Times had incorrect information about a 2010 Bourne malicious destruction case from Falmouth District Court. The ruling was issued by the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Because of a reporting error, a log on Page A4 of Tuesday's Times had incomplete information about a sailboat rescue in Chatham. Two Chatham harbormasters in a patrol boat rescued the two boaters.

For the record: Book signing moved to new location

A book signing planned for the Osterville Farmers Market listed in the Author Events column on Page B6 of Sunday's Times has been switched to a new location. Authors Finbar Corr, Joseph Doolin and Shirley Vogel will sign their books from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Books by the Sea, 846 Main St., Osterville.

Correction: Monomoy tax impact length incorrect

Because of an editing error, a story on Page A3 of Wednesday's Times had incorrect information about the effect of the cost of Monomoy Regional High School on tax bills in the district's towns. The annual tax impact on a median-priced home in Chatham would be $83 the first year, eventually dropping over 20 years to $51. It would go from $157 to $97 in Harwich.

Yarmouth police made arrest

Because of an editing error, a story on page C8 of Friday's Times attributed an arrest to the wrong police department. Yarmouth police pulled over a South Dennis man on a motorcycle who now faces charges of trafficking of heroin.

Because of a reporting error, a story that appeared on Page 16 of Friday's CapeWeek magazine and a review that appeared on Page D7 of Sunday's Times had the incorrect box-office phone number for "The Belle of Amherst," presented by the Church of the Holy Spirit and Stage East Actors Company at the church's parish hall, 204 Monument Road, Orleans. The correct number is 508-255-0433.

For the record: Health center accepts MassHealth pay for oral surgery

Because of incorrect information provided to the Times, an editorial on Page B4 in Sunday's paper had an error about MassHealth. No Cape oral surgeons accept MassHealth in their private practices, but MassHealth clients can get oral surgery at the Harbor Community Health Center, 30 Elm Ave., Hyannis, according to BL Hathaway, coordinator of the Oral Health Excellence Collaborative. Some dentists also participate in Cape Cod Dentists Care, a program that serves income-eligible patients in dentists' offices at a reduced rate.

Because of a reporting error, a police log on Page A5 of Thursday's Times had incorrect information about an accident Wednesday on Route 6 in Wellfleet. A Subaru heading north collided with a Ford sedan going south on Route 6. Also, Michael Hurley, of the Wellfleet Police Department, who was quoted, is a lieutenant.

Because of a reporting error, a story about mosquitoes on page A1 of Saturday's Times contained incorrect information. A fish ladder mentioned in the story was built in 2008 and a culvert was installed in 2010. The biting mosquito population in Craigville should dissipate by the end of this week, said Gabrielle Sakolsky, assistant superintendent and entomologist at the Cape Cod Mosquito Control Project.
